🐾 Meet William Fielson

Hi, I’m William Fielson—dog trainer, behavior enthusiast, and lifelong canine companion.

My journey into dog training started over a decade ago when I rescued a high-energy Labrador mix named Benny. Benny was smart, wild, and completely untrained. I dove headfirst into books, courses, and hands-on learning—and I was hooked. Watching Benny transform through trust and positive reinforcement opened my eyes to the power of connection between humans and their dogs.

Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of pups (and their people), specializing in everything from basic obedience to reactivity and confidence-building. I created Fielson Dogs not just as a training center, but as a community—a place where we learn, grow, and celebrate progress together.

šŸŽÆ Our Mission & Values

At Fielson Dogs, our mission is simple:
To help dogs and their humans build strong, respectful, and joyful relationships.

We believe in:

  • Patience before pressure

  • Compassion over correction

  • Empowering owners to become confident, capable leaders

  • Creating safe, structured, and fun environments for every dog

šŸ’” Our Training Philosophy

We train with heart, science, and strategy.
At the core of our approach is positive reinforcement—rewarding desired behaviors, building trust, and shaping habits that stick.

We do not use fear, intimidation, or harsh corrections. Instead, we focus on:

  • Clear communication between dog and owner

  • Consistent routines and expectations

  • Engaging games and structured play

  • Gradual exposure and confidence-building for fearful or reactive dogs

Every dog is different—and our training is tailored to match their pace, temperament, and learning style.
